Day 4: Love is Strength in the Lord

Love is Strength in the Lord!  I have been a Mom for 19+ years.  I have experienced life enough to know that things do not always go according to plan.  Today I pray over my family for strength to 'fight the good fight' in all circumstances.  I pray God's promises over my sons, my daughter, my husband, my parents & my future daughter/sons.

Modern trends come and go but the Precepts of God remain through the ages as a plumb line of truth and the only source of lasting peace that I have found.

Today I am encouraged by General Douglas MacArthur's prayer for his men- 

"Build me a Son, O Lord, who will be Strong enough to know when He is weak, and Brave enough to face himself when he is afraid.  One who will be proud AND unbending in Honest Character, Humble AND Gentle in Victory." -General MacArthur

I take the liberty to pray this over my 3 children & my future 2 daughters-in-law & son-in-law.

Ephesians 6:11

"Put on the Full Armor of God:  Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day

• Girded with Truth 
• Breastplate of Righteousness
• Shoes of Peace
• Shield of Faith
• Helmet of Salvation
• Sword of the Spirit"  

If I don't pray over them... who will?
