Day 7: Share the Love

Share the Love w/ Friends!  is all about making time to enjoy the people in our life.  This day aligns with Super Bowl Sunday!!   So go all out and invite your friends over!  This is our day to let them know you enjoy their company.  Make this a big Super Bowl party with all the trimmings and relax while the game is on. Make connections.  Be present.

Great menu ideas: chili, deviled eggs, veggie tray, chips & salsa, dip, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, brownies, fruit tray, cheese & crackers, 7 layer taco dip & these beauties created by Jennifer.

Share the Love w/ Community!  is all about making time to feed the Homeless in your community.  This day aligns with Super Bowl Sunday!!   Bring your big pots to Church! It's Souper bowl Sunday.  Put a sign on your pot that says, "SOUPER BOWL Sunday... collecting for [your homeless shelter].  Collect $$ and bring it directly to your local homeless shelter.  In the past we've collected for Lazareth House in St. Charles, IL.  Each year they are grateful for the $40-60 in donations.  Some people donate quarters, other dollars.  Everyone wants to help our homeless community.  It's about propping up the institutions that serve our most vulnerable neighbors.  *great Family Activity* -teaches kids about character & the simple joy of serving others.  Be a strong role-model for the family.  SHOW THEM how to SHARE LOVE selflessly.  Everyone wins when we Share LOVE with Community!
